In recent years there has been an upsurge in the number of invasive plants on and around our waterways. I have included here, courtesy of the Greater Lincolnshire Nature Partnership, some information about the more common ones you could encounter.
If you do happen to see any of these plants, please do get in touch with the Trust, via the contact form on the website, and tell us what you have seen and importantly where you have seen it. We will then make sure the information gets to the right people to deal with it.
There are two abridged cards with information designed as a guide for Drainage Engineers which you can download. Alternatively, you can follow the link below for more detailed information on the invasive species which is again available for download.
